We use a variety of fabric constructions in our range, each developed to meet the performance levels of our riders

DuPont® Cordura

Cordura fabrics are made using yarns or fibers from Invista. Fabrics can be made using 100% synthetic fiber or in blends with cotton or other natural fibers and are known for their durability and resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs. 1000 denier Cordura has an abrasion resistance equivalent to 1.3mm competition-grade leather. Cordura is used on garments like Kalahari, Sympatex Explorer and Sympatex Light Jackets.

Superfabric®

Superfabric® is a highly technical fabric application that has been used for the first time, on a Triumph product, with the Kalahari Jacket. Small ceramic plates are applied to the fabric that offers a higher abrasion resistance and tear strength than standard performance fabrics. The fabric remains flexible and lightweight for use on a motorcycle garment.

Bristex®

As used with the McQueen 2 Jacket and the Trials Jacket, Bristex is a nylon based fabric that offers high levels of abrasion resistance with excellent durability and performance. The key attribute to the fabric is the soft hand feel that is perfect for use on our more heritage style jackets.

Leather

All of our leathers are from high quality, free range livestock that are reared in natural surroundings away from barb wire fencing that may damage the hide. These Brazilian leathers are given different washes and finishes dependant on the product that they are made for whilst not compromising on the quality of the hides. For example, our sports leather jackets generally use a Monaco or Carbon leather which has a more consistent grain texture while our classic leather jackets generally use drum dyed or washed leathers for a heritage feel.
