    CLOTHING TECHNOLOGY

Each Triumph performance product is designed and developed to the highest quality. Each garment is designed in-house by our dedicated development team who ensure that all of our products are manufactured and tested to meet the modern day rider’s requirements.

    Fabric Technologies

You’ll find a variety of fabric constructions in our clothing range. Each developed to meet the performance requirements of our riders. Take Outlast®, its Temperature Regulating Technology is renowned worldwide as the product for temperature regulation. Outlast® technology, originally developed for NASA, utilises phase change materials (PCM) that absorb, store and release heat for optimal thermal comfort. For a ride that’s not too hot, not too cold, just right™.

Then there’s Superfabric®. This fabric is the perfect fusion of material, science and style and can be found on garments like the Navigator Jacket. We use it to give you higher levels of abrasion resistance, tear strength and stain resistance than standard base fabrics.

DuPont Teflon® fabric protector is an invisible finish that forms a protective barrier around fibres to deliver durable, long-lasting repellency against oil and water-based stains, dust and dry oil - all without impacting on the look, touch, feel, colour and breathability of the fabric.

Cordura® fabrics can be made using 100% synthetic fibres or in blends with cotton, polyester or other fibres and are known for their durability and resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs. 1000 denier Cordura® has an abrasion resistance equivalent even to 1.3mm competition-grade leather.

    Leather Technologies

At Triumph we carefully choose our materials to ensure the best performance and quality for the rider. For the majority of our leather we look to Brazil, which is fast becoming the number 1 source for quality leather due to factors such as diet and the vast wide open spaces with limited barb wire fences.  All this results in well maintained live stock free from cuts and marks. In our sports riding product, the leather has a more consistent grain structure and texture meaning great durability for all conditions. Our Classic leather products use a different process which adds to the heritage feel without compromising on quality. Whatever you are looking for in leather riding gear, Triumph motorcycles will have a style that won’t compromise on performance.

    Protective Clothing

The Triumph range of protective motorcycle clothing perfectly combines innovation, technology, quality and style to give all riders increased protection without compromise.

Using some of the latest materials and technological advances in the industry, as well as partnering with innovative companies, a range that includes premium riding jeans, leather jackets and textile riding wear has been designed with safety and comfort in mind.

All riding wear has been tested extensively to ensure that the products available in Triumph dealerships are of the highest standard. Those standards are echoed in the protection pads which use D3O® technology, the selection of cut and abrasion resistant riding Jeans, and all waterproof riding wear currently available.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an adventurer, a fan of the modern classics or a daily commuter, there’s protective motorcycle clothing for every style of rider which can be purchased through Triumph dealerships.

You can find more information on the types of riding wear available below, or if you would like to explore the full selection please visit our clothing pages. Alternatively, you can visit your nearest Triumph dealer for information or to order anything from the Triumph range.

    Light Technology

Exclusively developed as the latest in visibility clothing for motorcyclists. Triumph’s Light Jacket and Vest have Integrated LED light technology, which can be easily controlled by a rechargeable battery system to give you greater levels of visibility.

Whereas high visibility reflective materials require a light source to illuminate the LEDs are, of course, a light source of their own. One that’s also very effective even in daylight and works well with day-glow materials.
