    The Wayfarer's Memoirs

Just outside the ultraurbanized centers of Los Angeles and San Diego, a massive desert and long-dead sea play host to a faded resort town. Jason and Jon set out on a 1969 Triumph T100C and a 2012 Triumph Bonneville SE to search out remnants of this area‘s former glory. What they found bore little resemblance to the playground that once was, yet serves as one of the most intriguing examples of cultural Americana to be found anywhere. The duo shares a passion for filmmaking and motorcycling, and they documented some first impressions in both digital and super-8 film stocks.
