Triumph Careers - The career of your dreams starts here!
Production / Manufacturing Engineers
Join the team behind the machine
Hinckley, Leicestershire
These are amazing times for Triumph Motorcycles. We’re adding new models to our fantastic range of award-winning bikes. We’re raising production dramatically to meet global demand. And we’ve opened new plants in Thailand to complement our state-of-the art UK factory in Hinckley. So it’s a great time to join us and develop your skills as part of a global engineering team. These roles will mainly focus on the development and introduction of new models in the UK, but will also have a major involvement in the manufacture of products in Thailand – so trips and/or secondments to Thailand are a real possibility. Join us at the cutting edge of automotive technology, and you could go a long way.
Production Engineer
Ideally you’ll have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, but if you’re a CAD-literate engineer with proven experience in automotive production support, the vision to introduce efficiency improvements, and the skills to train production colleagues, we want to hear from you. Supporting the Engine and Chassis Assembly lines, you’ll be involved in the design of components and establishing the build sequence for motorcycle production. The role will also entail the design, sourcing, purchasing, commissioning and support of assembly tooling and fixtures.

Manufacturing Engineer
This key role is well suited to a mechanically-minded engineer who enjoys designing and then fabricating equipment for the assembly process on our engine and chassis lines. You’ll design and fabricate jigs, fixtures, presses and assembly equipment using a lathe, milling machines, grinding machines and your welding skills. If not a degree-qualified engineer, you’ll be apprentice-trained to HNC level with good CAD skills, have the ability to work from detailed drawings and meticulous attention to detail in keeping records. At Triumph, the career development prospects are second to none. Likewise the salary and benefits package including paid overtime, an excellent pension scheme, discounted health insurance, subsidized canteen and a discounted bike purchase scheme.
