SAFETY RECALL - Rear suspension drag link
Friday, October 2, 2009

Quality checks at Triumph have identified a potential problem with a number of rear suspension drag links on a small number of Sprint ST 1050 and Sprint ST 1050 ABS motorcycles. The models affected are from the 2005 to 2010 model years from VIN number 221423 to 424192.
Rider safety is of the utmost importance to Triumph and therefore we are recalling this model to fit new parts.
Affected motorcycles should be taken to an approved Triumph dealership for new parts to be fitted. The modification will be carried out free of charge and should take no longer than 30 minutes.
Triumph has written to all registered owners affected by this action advising them of the recall and urging them to contact their local Triumph dealership. Any one who wishes to confirm whether their machine is affected is asked to contact their local dealer or use the<<VIN Enquiry>> function on this website.
All Triumph authorized dealers are aware of the full details of this action.
