Street Triple Wins Best Bike Award for 2008
Thursday, June 12, 2008

The Street Triple is awarded the “Best Standard” motorcycle for 2008. This category is judged based on versatility, comfort and price. According to Cycle World, Triumph’s “award winning product is certainly one of the positive elements of motorcycling.”
The Street Triple is the fifth Triumph model in four years to receive the coveted “Ten Best” award. Additionally, Triumph has taken the “Best Standard” category for three consecutive years. The category winners include the 2006 Speed Triple, the 2007 Tiger 1050, and now the 2008 Street Triple. The full article appears in the July issue of Cycle World.
The Street Triple is lean, light and agile; it’s built for riding with attitude. We combined the high performing Daytona 675 engine and the aggressive styling of the Speed Triple to create the Best Standard motorcycle in the market. This bike outperforms others in its class not only on the street, but also on the track. The Street Triple offers class leading performance, handling and brakes that are matched with a competitive ‘on the road’ retail price of £5,349.
