Welcome to Triumph's Online Press Office
2007 was another great year for Triumph as it raked in magazine awards across the range, as well as achieving official CoolBrand status.
2007 saw the launch of two fantastic new motorcycles, both of which are proving to be massive successes. The Tiger 1050, designed for the rider who owns one bike but doesn’t just do one thing, has proven itself to be a genuinely versatile machine. Equally capable of solo sports riding, two-up touring and urban street riding, its versatility led the Tiger to collect magazine test victories from around the globe.
Next out of Hinckley HQ was the much awaited Street Triple. A genius feat of genetic engineering saw Triumph bring together performance DNA extracted from the Daytona 675 and the aggressive streetfighter styling drawn from the Speed Triple to create the most desirable naked middleweight motorcycle in the market. As the younger brother of the Speed Triple, the Street Triple is a welcome addition to the Triumph streetfighter family, and with the comparison test awards rolling in and a waiting list as long as your arm, the Street Triple promises to continue its success into 2008.
The ground breaking Daytona 675 has continued its reign as King of the Supersports as, amongst other accolades, it scooped the Masterbike and Supertest award for the second year running! 2008 sees some minor aesthetic updates to the 675, plus a Special Edition version – click on the links below for more information.
