The Triumph Thruxton Cup Challenge Series roars through mid-Ohio! Racing legend Jay Springsteen added to his long list of victories claiming wins on both Saturday and Sunday at Vintage Motorcycle Days. The Thruxtons made a great show for the crowds on both days with fantastic battles between Tim Joyce sponsored by D&D Cycles in Pensacola, FL and Ted Cobb sponsored by Moto Britalia in Alpharetta, GA. With only three events left, Ted Cobb sits at the top of the leader board for the inaugural Thruxton Cup Challenge Championship. The top ten in points are: Ted Cobb, Tim Joyce, William Stranahan, Robert McClendon, Jeff Hinds, Fred Willink, Steve Pieratt, Jay Springsteen, Craig Murray, and Gary Nixon. Triumph is still offering an $800 rebate to any person who purchases a new Thruxton in order to compete in the series.

The next Thruxton Cup Challenge race will be held at Pueblo Motorsports Park, Pueblo Colorado on September 10-11.
