Our Pack continues to gain new members every month as evidenced by the strong support and sales ability of the staff at Joes’s Cycle. The recent success has not happened by chance, far from it. Joe’s Cycle opened their doors in 1963 driven by the passion of one Joe Seyfferle with strong support from his wife Angie. They continue to run the business today with help from family, friends and proud offspring Joey (a racer in his own right) and current holder of a professional license in dirt track and SuperMotard racing. Joe’s Cycle has been on the cutting edge of motorcycle brand support since they opened the doors. In the sixties and seventies, you could find brands such as Bultaco, Royal Infield, Bridgetone, Hodaka…..you see this dealership was run by enthusiasts in the beginning and continues that way today. Way back in the 50’s Big Joe as he’s known today was a motorcycle drag racer….that must have been an exciting time….and it’s an activity that enjoys great popularity today both nationally and locally. Just imagine the excitement when in 1997 Triumph was added to their lineup. Today, we encourage you to visit the showroom where Triumph proudly occupies 50% of the floor area…and there’s a reason, the awesome variety of the models offered by Triumph have opened many eyes and created many smiles in the Dayton area. Our R.A.T. Pack is the benefactor of the rich heritage of the Dayton area, and the tremendous support of the Seyfferle family. Our monthly meetings typically have in excess of 20 attendees. Our monthly rides always result in smiles on our faces. You see, Southern Ohio is a vast melting pot of twisty, lightly traveled, and beautiful rural roads. Add to this mix the Ohio River and it’s easy to see why Triumph has so much to offer. Triumph builds bikes that are made to be ridden and from our perspective, the more rural the better. Triumph knows horsepower, torque, suspension and styling, and we know how to find the best roads. Keep those new models coming! Support also provided by Joey Seyfferle and Phil Conover both R.A.T. members in good standing.
