The global custom motorcycle competition Triumph Originals challenge is back. This year, teams from around the world will be creating original and iconic custom builds inspired by the theme: Time Capsule.
Seven countries. One challenge. A world of originality.
Triumph Originals is our global custom motorcycle challenge. This year’s theme, Time Capsule, will inspire Triumph teams from all over the world to create the most original and iconic custom builds.
In markets around the world, local custom shops were hand selected to complete the builds. In the US and Canada, the builds were led by Triumph dealerships. Each build team created a one-off customized Scrambler to showcase their innovative design, build technique, and craftsmanship.
When the builds are complete, your vote will help determine which one takes the title of Triumph Original 2026.
The theme: Time Capsule
With such a celebrated and iconic heritage to draw on, this year’s theme should spark plenty of inspiration and originality.
We invited teams to select a decade or defining era from the Scrambler’s legendary story, then create a custom build that encapsulates the style and attitude of that moment in time.
Inspiration can come from every corner of Scrambler history – from iconic races like the Big Bear Run, the 530-Mile Greenhorn Enduro, and the Bajaj 1000, to famous cultural moments such as Steve McQueen’s jump for freedom in The Great Escape, along with countless appearances across film, fashion, and television.
How it works
Countries around the world chose a Scrambler model and teamed up with a local custom motorcycle builder. In the US and Canada, dealer teams led builds, with two dealerships vying to represent the US in the global competition. Voting for the US competition is live now!
Together, they collaborated on a completely original design for a custom build - inspired by this year’s theme: Time Capsule.
We’ll be revealing their custom Scramblers this summer, when they’ll be judged by a panel of design and cultural experts.
They will then go through to a public vote, with both scores combined to determine who’ll be the ultimate winner and take the title of Triumph Original 2026.
