COMPONENTS FOR ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE

The engine is crafted with premium components to offer a premium riding experience for competition, exploration and freeriding. The 450 cc engine features a pressed crankshaft and conrod assembly with roller main bearings and plain big-end bearings for strength and durability. A forged König piston with a fully machined crown, angled side squish, hard-anodized crown, three-piece oil control ring, and DLC gudgeon pin delivers maximum efficiency and longevity. High-spec Del West titanium inlet and exhaust valves with DLC coating minimize friction and wear, providing consistently high performance so you can ride at your very best.

IN-HOUSE-MACHINED MANUFACTURING

In line with Triumph’s ethos for premium engineering, the TF 450-E’s single-cylinder SOHC engine is fully machined in-house, including the fireface, combustion chamber, ports, seats, and guides, delivering optimized port geometry and CFD-refined coolant flow. The cylinder head bolts allow easy removal in-frame and the system is EVAP-adapted. Enduro-specific tuning provides increased inertia for smoother low-speed control and optimized traction.

SIX-SPEED GEARBOX

Developed with input from enduro legends including four-time Enduro World Champion Iván Cervantes, the six-speed gearbox features race-optimized ratios for smooth, clutchless shifting and effective momentum management in technical terrain. Enduro-specific gearing is carefully matched to the engine, while an overdriven sixth gear enhances comfort and efficiency during road and transfer sections. Constructed from high-grade alloy steel to Triumph specifications and featuring micro shot-peened gear teeth, it is engineered for exceptional durability, strength and reduced friction.

ATHENA GET ENGINE CONTROL

Developed in collaboration with Athena, the advanced engine management system has been specifically calibrated to deliver the levels of drivability, traction and rear-wheel connection demanded by enduro riders. Two standard engine maps, Full Power and Softened Power, allow riders to adapt performance to changing conditions, while a further six maps can be accessed through the MX Tune Pro app and optional Wi-Fi Pro Module Kit for enhanced tuning and customization.

INTAKE SYSTEM

A bespoke Dell'Orto 44 mm throttle body, paired with a Keihin injector, delivers excellent fuel atomization for responsive, controllable power delivery. An air bypass circuit supports reliable cold starts, while manual idle adjustment enables precise set-up. Designed for both performance and practicality, the high-flow airbox incorporates tool-free filter access and a premium Twin Air filter proven in factory racing. Vented and non-vented airbox covers are supplied as standard, allowing riders to optimize airflow and protection for varying conditions.

RACE-READY KYB SUSPENSION PACKAGE

Developed by some of the world’s best technicians and tested by world-class athletes, the TF 450-E’s easy-to-set-up suspension package is built for real enduro riding. The KYB 48 mm AOS coil-sprung forks deliver 300 mm of controlled travel with fully adjustable compression and rebound. At the rear, the KYB 3-way piggyback shock features a 50 mm piston with high-/low-speed compression and rebound adjustment. For MY27, new suspension settings complement enduro-specific spring rates and tuning, providing immediate performance. With straightforward adjustability, riders can be confident of reaching the perfect set-up in all types of conditions, while new fork guards offer improved protection.

PREMIUM ENDURO WHEEL PACKAGE

Premium components deliver performance and durability. Triumph’s enduro models feature D.I.D DirtStar rims paired with Triumph-designed lightweight 6000-series machined aluminum hubs, laced with stainless-steel spokes and nipples for strength and durability. Fully machined hub surfaces allow tighter control of wall thickness, reducing weight while enhancing overall finish, so not only do they withstand hard impacts, they also deliver a premium finish. Standard 21-/18-inch sizing delivers proven enduro geometry, while Michelin’s Enduro range, which includes the renowned Enduro 2 Medium model, provides class-leading traction in the depths of tough enduro terrain.

PRECISION-TUNED NEKEN TRIPLE CLAMPS

Lightweight 7075-T6 forged Neken clamps have been designed to provide optimized stiffness, delivering sharper steering, better front-end feel, and smooth tracking through gnarly sections. The result is more precision, more confidence, and a more responsive front end in every enduro scenario.
