TRIUMPH SUPPORTS CONTINUED GLOBAL GROWTH OF THE DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN’S RIDE 2026
- The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride took place in 109 countries with 1,071 rides, representing an increase on 2025 and reflecting the ride’s ongoing international reach.
- In total, 123,600 riders took part, raising $7.53 million USD for Movember.
- Top 1st and 3rd fundraiser in the USA with the 2nd place fundraiser in Canada.
- Michael Swanwick from Derbyshire, UK, was awarded the Gentlefolk Prize, winning a one-off custom Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition.
- USA Raising over $2,530,000 and Canada raising over $435,000.
- USA hosting 195 cities with 15,295 participants and Canada hosting 33 cities totaling 2,223 participants.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (The DGR) returned on Sunday, May 17, 2026, bringing together 123,600 riders across 1,071 rides in 109 countries; the highest number of rides in the event’s history.
A total of $7.53 million USD was raised for Movember, supporting global programs in prostate cancer research, early detection and men’s mental health. Since its launch in 2012, The DGR has raised more than $68 million USD worldwide.
As Global Motorcycle Partner since 2014, Triumph supports The DGR through rider engagement, dealer activation, fundraising incentives and exclusive product collaborations. Triumph riders accounted for the largest single group of participants, with 26,850 riders taking part globally, collectively raising a record $2.4M USD.
More than 500 of these riders also joined Team Triumph, bringing together owners and enthusiasts from across the network. Riding with Team Triumph gave participants the chance to join a global community connected by purpose and style, and five riders have won a premium clothing package from The DGR x Triumph Collection in an exclusive prize draw.
This year’s event also recognized leading individual fundraisers and contributors from across the global DGR community:
- Top Fundraiser (1st Prize): Johnny Scheff (Chicago, USA)
Johnny Scheff was the highest individual fundraiser worldwide in 2026, raising an outstanding $85,154 USD. As owner of Motoworks Chicago and Motor Cycle Center, Inc., and host of the Chicago Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, Scheff claimed the event's top individual fundraising title and received a Triumph Bonneville T120. - Second Place Fundraiser (2nd Prize): Joseph Mancinelli (Hamilton, Canada)
Joseph Mancinelli achieved the second-highest fundraising total worldwide, with $64,479 USD and will select a motorcycle from Triumph’s Modern Classic range to auction, generating further funds. - Third Place Fundraiser (3rd Prize): Christopher Minks (Metuchen, New Jersey, USA)
Christopher Minks completes the top three global fundraisers for 2026, raising $62,117 USD, and receives a Triumph Scrambler 900. - Gentlefolk Prize Winner: Michael Swanwick (Derbyshire, UK)
Michael Swanwick was awarded the Gentlefolk Prize in recognition of his overall contribution to the ride, including fundraising, participation and engagement. He receives a one-off Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition, created exclusively for this year’s event. With a bespoke Harris Tweed seat, made from authenticated, handwoven fabric, this unique custom also features a dedicated 15 Years of Dapper anniversary graphic and number board, and is gifted with a certificate of authenticity.
