The TR-Series engine delivers an authentic Bonneville riding experience with torque-rich performance from a revised cylinder head and camshafts, plus a dedicated Bonneville engine tune. Tuned to deliver torque-rich performance lower down in the rev range, the T40 produces 26.6 lb-ft of peak torque at 5,000 RPM, offering strong acceleration and loads of character.

A new full-color circular TFT blends modern technology with classic style. Key riding information, including gear position, indicators, ambient temperature, and fuel gauge are displayed prominently. The central portion can be used to scroll through phone-connectivity features or the bike’s menus. Customizable widgets can be accessed using the switch cube, allowing riders to easily access their favorite functions.

FULL MAP NAVIGATION​

A brand-new mapping system comes as standard on the Bonneville T40 and is powered via the new Triumph Navigation App. With a full-map view and speed-limit* display shown directly on the TFT, navigating new routes has never been easier. Favorite destinations, points of interest, and recent searches are accessed on the bike through the TFT display, allowing you to leave your phone in your pocket and focus on enjoying the ride.

PHONE CONNECTIVITY​

Phone Connectivity comes as standard and is operated intuitively through the TFT display. The Emergency Deceleration Warning enhances visibility and awareness of surrounding vehicles during heavy braking. Under heavy braking, the system automatically flashes the rear light to alert other riders and drivers behind that the motorcycle is slowing rapidly.
