Specially designed for the Rocket 3 R and GT motorcycles, an all-new high-specification mass-optimized aluminum frame features a forward-facing air intake with premium cast and forged components. With the engine performing as a stressed member, the frame’s innovative design contributes to the new Rocket 3 lineup’s weight savings of over 88.18 pounds, more than 15% lighter than the previous Rocket providing the new generation with an absolutely incredible torque-to-weight ratio.

The new Rocket 3 R and GT feature a fully adjustable Showa monoshock rear suspension unit with piggyback reservoir (adjustable for rebound, compression and preload), and 1.85 inch (47 mm) adjustable Showa front forks (with rebound & compression adjustability) to deliver superior riding comfort, exceptional handling and touring capability.

The new Rocket 3 models are equipped with highest available specification Brembo Stylema® calipers. These are lightweight, compact, beautifully-sculpted high performing calipers which have a smaller volume around the pistons and brake pads, reducing the internal space occupied by brake fluid to deliver a more immediate braking response. In addition, this new design allows increased airflow around the brake pads which helps the calipers cool quicker for even better performance.

New state-of-the-art full-color 2nd generation TFT instruments transform the functionality and riding experience of the new Rocket 3. The stylish minimal design has two dynamic information layout design themes that can be tailored, including a feature that allows the rider to personalize the start-up screen message with their name.  The instrument angle is adjustable for optimum visibility for every height of rider, and the onscreen information is easily controlled via the all-new illuminated switchcubes and five-way joystick.

A state-of-the art technology feature for active rider safety, the optimized cornering ABS and Traction Control delivers enhanced stability, improved straight-line and cornering acceleration, and better braking by ensuring optimum brake force, optimized slip rate and torque control. The cornering functionality is also supported by an Inertial Measurement Unit from Continental that enables the appropriate ABS and Traction Control response by measuring roll, pitch, yaw and acceleration rates to continuously calculate lean angle.

Road, Rain, Sport and Rider-Configurable riding modes adjust throttle map and Traction Control settings to suit rider preference and riding conditions, and are easily changed (even on the move) via the intuitive illuminated switchcubes.

The new Rocket 3 R and GT both feature distinctive twin LED headlights for maximum visibility and also signature shaped Daytime Running Lights (where local legislation allows).  In addition, LED indicators, rear light and license plate light provide maximum performance, durability and power efficiency.

Hill hold control prevents the bike from rolling backwards for enhanced rider confidence and maximum control, even when fully loaded or with a pillion.  The system applies the rear brake until sensing the rider is starting to move off, and is activated using the front brake lever.  The feature is switchable via the bike setup menu.

A convenient feature that recognizes the proximity of the owner’s keyless fob to enable ignition via the start button.  An additional security feature, unique to Triumph, allows the fob to be disabled anytime for even more peace of mind.

The new Rocket 3 comes ready to be fitted with the groundbreaking motorcycle-integrated GoPro control system, which is only available from Triumph. This facilitates GoPro camera operation through its accessory-fitted Bluetooth connectivity module.  Connection and controls are displayed on the TFT instruments, while video and photo operations are intuitively controlled by the rider through switchgear, which presents simple graphic icons on the screen to indicate the status of the GoPro camera.

Powered by Google, this exclusive Triumph feature facilitates navigation through an accessory Bluetooth connectivity module.  Once the rider has selected the route on the MyTriumph app and set off, the instruments present turn symbols on the screen and simple graphic icons for navigation, route planning, final destination and points of interest (e.g. hotels, gas, restaurants, etc).

Full Bluetooth phone integration with clear display via the color TFT instruments, where the rider is presented with simple graphic icons on the instrument screen. Phone operation is controlled through the bike’s switchgear, so Bluetooth music selection and volume can be easily controlled by the rider. This function is facilitated through the accessory-fitted Bluetooth connectivity module.
