How the Triumph Triple Trophy works
Every Grand Prix weekend, three Moto2™ riders are shortlisted by an expert panel from Triumph and Dorna for their standout performance on track.
Fans then vote via the official MotoGP™ Instagram channel.
Points are awarded in reference to Triumph’s 765cc engine:
7 points – Rider with the most fan votes
6 points – Second most fan votes
5 points – Third most fan votes
These points accumulate across the season. The rider with the highest total is crowned the 2026 Triumph Triple Trophy winner.
Voting begins on Sunday, March 1, 2026, following the opening round of the season at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand.
